# BaldFade FAQ

## What is BaldFade?

A web tool that previews a bald, buzz cut or fade hairstyle on your own photo using third-party AI image models. It is not a diagnosis and does not predict a real haircut.

## How do I use it?

Choose male or female and a hairstyle, upload one portrait photo, tick the photo declaration, and pay. The photo is checked before payment; the finished image is on a private result page.

## How much does it cost?

Single image $4.99, no account needed. Sign in with an email code to buy 3 credits for $9.99, 5 for $14.99, or 10 for $24.99. Credit users can create several styles at once. Credits are valid 365 days from purchase; credits that expire soonest are used first. One credit covers one image. A full refund is available within 14 days of purchase only if none of the pack's credits have been used (credits returned after a failed image don't count).

## When am I not charged?

If your photo does not pass the input review you are not charged.

## What if generation fails?

It is retried once automatically. For single-image payments, if it still fails, a refund request is submitted automatically and processed within 5 business days to the original payment method; arrival time depends on your payment method. For credit images, the credit is returned automatically.

## Can I use the image commercially?

No. Generated images are licensed for personal use only.

## How long are photos kept?

Photos and results are available for 30 days from when your photo is approved and prepared, before payment or generation. Viewing and downloads stop at expiry; daily scheduled cleanup removes files. Unused uploads are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours. Copies held by AI providers or backups are outside this cleanup task.

## What photos are allowed?

Photos you own or have the person's consent to use. No minors and no sexual content. See https://baldfade.net/acceptable-use.

## I lost my result link.

Use Recover access with the email you used to pay: https://baldfade.net/recover. For other help write to support@baldfade.net.

## Does the result show what I will look like after a real haircut?

No. It is an AI-generated preview. Hairlines, face details and backgrounds can change.
