# BaldFade: product facts

BaldFade is a web tool that previews a bald, buzz cut or fade hairstyle on one uploaded portrait photo using third-party AI image models. It is not a hair-loss diagnosis and does not predict an actual haircut.

## Key facts

- Input: one portrait photo, JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 25 MB. Large photos are resized in the browser before upload; the server enforces a 5 MB limit on the uploaded file. A clear, well-lit, front-facing photo works best.
- Choose male or female, then a hairstyle (bald, buzz cut, fades, tapers and others listed at https://baldfade.net/styles), upload the photo, and pay.
- Before payment the photo is checked automatically against the Acceptable Use Policy. Photos that fail are not charged.
- After payment or credit redemption, the image is generated, checked again, and shown on a private result page for download. Rejected output is not delivered; a single-image payment triggers an automatic refund request, while a credit image returns its credit.
- Price: single image $4.99, no account needed. Sign in with an email code for credit packs: 3 for $9.99, 5 for $14.99, 10 for $24.99. Credit users can create several styles at once.
- Credits are valid 365 days from purchase; credits that expire soonest are used first. One credit covers one image; failed images return their credit. Full refund within 14 days of purchase only if none of the pack's credits have been used (credits returned after a failed image don't count).
- Generated images are licensed for personal use only.
- Photos and results are available for 30 days from when your photo is approved and prepared, before payment or generation. Viewing and downloads stop at expiry; daily scheduled cleanup removes files. Unused uploads are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours.
- Declaration required at upload: you own the photo or have the person's consent; no minors or sexual content.
- Images are made with third-party AI image models. Results can change facial details, hairlines and backgrounds, and do not predict a real haircut or diagnose hair loss.
